Keeping Your Teeth Clean Even After Your Dentist Visit
Keeping your teeth clean even after your dentist visit is very possible by taking several approaches. One approach is to brush your teeth frequently and at least twice a day. The best time to brush your teeth is immediately after eating a meal. The earlier you brush your teeth after a meal, the better. Another approach to keeping your teeth clean is to floss your teeth everyday. It is important to remove any food that is inbetween your teeth immediately so that the food does not rot and cause teeth and gum problems later in life. Cavities can be caused by having old food remain on your teeth. Deep flossing ensures that all remnants of the food are removed from the mouth. A third approach is to use mouth wash. Mouth wash will destroy bacteria in your mouth such as those that cause cavities. You may use mouth wash in addition to brushing your teeth to fully clean the teeth. A fourth approach to get clean teeth is eating healthy, low sugar foods. Fruits like apples are snacks that do not harm your teeth. Food to stay away from include high fat and high sugar desserts like cookies and cakes.
